4:3 or 16:9 problems

Frage von mdp:
Oktober 2007

Hello together,
I have small MiniDVD `s from a Canon camera recordings on which it is in 16:9. In DVD player or s.Television will appear synonymous. In the calculator at the most diverse program, Avid / Magix or even on the Windows Media player shows he is wrong. He makes the picture in 4:3 format and moves everything in the length. When importing into the respective cut programs he always gives an error message out. I have the stuff then synonymous 1:1 on the calculator and then copied to the respective files clicked on properties, then there is 720x576 4:3. hmm .. Maybe someone knows the problem and can help me.

Thanks in advance.

Gruß Jo

Apparently, the 16:9-info is lost somewhere in the workflow. In most programs, you can cut the clips, but this property to assign manual.

Antwort von mdp:

Hi beiti,

that I think less, because even from the DVD drive in the calculator on the Windows Media Player will not display correctly.

And how that is true. You have just set a flag somewhere, which notifies the program that the anmorphotisches 16:9 than 4:3 to be treated.

Antwort von MacPro:
