'm in the process cut myself a new PC to purchase. Currently I'm working still with a 3.00 GHz Pentium with 1 GB of memory, a GeForce4 Ti4600 graphics card and a total of 750 GB HD (2 x IDE, 1 x SATA). The system is not really slow but HDV is not necessarily synonymous of the crusher. I work mainly (and very happy) with Premiere Pro 2nd
Habe mir mal now a budget of 5,000.00 euros for a new Calculator (without monitor) is set. Now do some questions, which I probably reasonably sensible can be answered (I just provided :-)):
1. What is a processor is recommended. Currently there is a flood of Dual Core Xeon, Dual Xeon, Quad, etc. with all the possible clock rates. What does one (or two) Xeon Processor? Performance counter is never something to that. However, I would not just have a better processor, dess More power and features of me could not be used.
2. What makes the graphics card in mind? What should you do? I walk times assume that the graphics card, the rendering speed is not usually affected. (Am I right?)
3. In memory I thought s.so 4 GB. But would like to equip so that I can upgrade süäter (ie 2x2 instead of 4x1). How big is the speed loss experience if you equipped?
So, just think that's enough. Thank you in advance for your answers ...

Hmm, the roast, I do not trust it completely. I think because it restricts itself to total A. The contribution (WMV), the good speaker so synonymous daruf out that it all depends on machines again. What do you do when the format in the next coming years to refine? The card supports what is currently available. You have a DV camera for 400 s and want / sollst Calculator for 6500 ¬ to spend? As probably the true relationship forward and not backwards! Purchase yourself a calculator for 1000 ¬, give another ¬ 1000 for software and put the rest into a higher quality video. So for me out of a shoe. The 6500 ¬ for the system may indeed be entitled to (know the configuration is not), but I have a feeling, because someone wants s.einem ignorant mightily to earn much money!

What goes for then for a premiere of 2.0 applications for the processing of DV material? Can the man notices the Adobe - Page follow that describes the recommended hardware? That is the question that we both actually want to answer - but can not :-) ray

We can advise you better if we know what the machine you need: What do you actually do? IR cut? HDV ones? Many Effects? Compositing? For compressing large network?

I want to intersect with many DV effects. To Learn! Did not want me but then a new system to buy HD or if I want to edit. The whole thing is time to network (professionally - Presentation of projects - interactive landscape design - season dependent!) If I know what is possible, I have before qualitatv high-quality material to edit and create. Besides, of course, the private videos - with no end sports videos! The money is certainly always an issue, but not the point I s.dem wenns decision to purchase it. If I wait several minutes until I see what the effects mean how the image looks like the course and what to change it again to wait makes me not happy. Hence the idea that it might be good, the system is equal to slightly more demanding way. But I am synonymous sure I curse myself, if synonymous cheaper would be gone, zumahl I certainly need a few months and then possibly the then new, great system now only middle class, in comparison to the s.Markt being. In addition, yes None of us want on the table to be towed. Ray

It smells very strong but after advertising forum, but with no preference. I let the dealer with my 0800 for "free" advice and buy me then the components in www.geizhals.at! Bin mal gespannt, when the last dealer close their doors and Germany to come back to reason.
