Hello. Should these or similar issues have given (and I have not found them) I ask for forgiveness schonmal precaution. :-)
I use the Cyberlink Power Director (the free version) to my little movie editing. My camcorder is in the * * avi format where even then a few minutes of film already achieved GB size.
Now the question: Is there a "preferred" format in which I can convert my movies? The goal is to 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.-minute films on a website to make without huge files (load time) to have and without loss of image quality gr.

In my opinion, to get the best results with the Windows own WMV format. Not so compatible, such as AVI or MPEG, but very good quality with small files.

I can tell you DivX for normal, or DivX-HD for high definition movies empfählen.Dieses format videos stark.Optische very image of the losses are in DivX playback is not recognizable, although each course Compression Qualitätsverlußte easily with them.
I had to demo station purposes times a minute AVCHD video in DivX HD convertiert and in my homepage gestellt.Dieser was M2TS file 60 MB groß.Nach the convertieren with DivX-HD, I had a video file of 10,1 MB! The result you can be happy once anschauen.Stillimage dier with the right mouse button and save target anklichen.

You can open this file with the WMP (s.Vers.10) MPC, Zoom and of course the DivX Player.

Respect, yes you are right with the quick answers. :-)
@ herb I have viewed your movie-very good quality. And that is where my problem: 20 sec film with 10 MB. That is the shock of death for each site. If I have an approximately 5 minutes long clip uploading ..... those are tons s.MB.
The size of video files s.sich is not the problem. Only the quality losses are so enormous. :-((((

You must already know what you want ... a HD - Film on a homepage is useful for certain areas, for most applications but it is certainly not.
Stay on your homepage with the standard - sizes and applications for the Web. Currently, most flash with 320x240. Good compression do you as a quality, which certainly is better than the whole joke on Youtube, and you save your annoying visitors Programs nachzuinstallieren or nachzuladen, since 98% of all browser-to-date Flash - player or have the version before.

I think the size of the quality honestly very good or is there someone else opinion?
These are at best quality (ie natural sunlight) ca 25 MB / s, the quality is probably okay, or do you think otherwise?

You are aware that at a Resolutionvom 320x240 the picture is not larger than a PDA? So graphic, because then you can no longer recognize.
