times wanted my first experience with an upgrade here perpetuate.
Was purchased: Dual Core E6300, ASrockboard VST 775 and dual fan Arctic Freezer. (previously I had Asusp4p800 with 2.4 P4). Total price 235 Euro! (only had about an AMD Venice thinking, but at the price ...:-))
Why I bought this constellation? Because this board is the only one AGP slot available. Wanted my Matroxkarte necessarily continue. Board may be synonymous old DDR1 Ram process. Lose While s.Leistung then, but even so was my new system is much faster. The Board will no longer be available so long as it is no longer built. (same AMD board is no longer available).
Installation: Problems. Only SATA Raid is on by default. Did a complete new system set up. Memory are not properly recognized. Must be manual.
Handling software, etc.: The performance is of course the hammer! The difference with my P4 significantly. Premiere is loose at least three x as fast as before. However, Matrox and slows my memory. Everything that supports multi cpu is much faster. In cubase (music software) is the performance gain even more clearly be observed (ca. 300-400%).
Conclusion:
Who soon will change its system, should be based on Intel's dual core switch. Inexpensive and significant performance gains are possible. Furthermore, for 235 euros (graphics card memory and legacy of this must be) is not really expensive and with ASrockboard may be synonymous with the old AGP card still be used! But probably not for long.

All I AsRock boards in recent years, ran like a sack of nuts. The coronation was a AsRock based server, which generally each of connecting USB devices with a hard reboot has gratefully.
Those things are cheap (mainly because they are in Munich at the Schillerstrasse in every store to have ...) but I have with the boards until now had only worse.
Does your system stable?

clearly, that was synonymous garnicht as "ONLY AsRock is bad, everything else is pure gold" post meant:) But this particular manufacturer (Manufacturer is AsRock überhahupt " The label is synonymous only ...) comes amiss to me .. .
But if stable course is 235 ¬ astrein!

AsRock asus is the cheap brand.
some people say "what s.bauteilen (chips etc.) for asus quality control through the fall, when AsRock installed.
says quite a bit from. We have here a office computer for billing / accounting, with the AsRock board provided was (unfortunately). if the board will be warm and a cold start to do it, he no longer high. definitely classified board, the board costs only 35 euro, but the expense, the entire software umzuregistrieren because they realize that any hardware identifier has changed, is really annoying.

But that was not synonymous to "question" but that it did not funtioniert! I would be a solution not synonymous favor, but it is offered as an option. I have not synonymous claims that it "Plan A" is to be recommended :-)

Sure .... a cheap board is probably less "features" provide safe and synonymous with some "higher" needs little good run. Also Incompatibilities may probably be, but let the ranks of the board manufacturer and spin next to each question about his experiences. I believe there is always good and bad experiences.
If this thread but not as "I want my hardware purchase warrant (no preference of what Page you look at it), but the problem Aufrüstrung this was the re-use an existing AGP card (and of DDR1 memory) and not the choice of the manufacturer.
There are no other board nunmal this.
If I were of course a new graphics card and new memory module synonymous nor hinzuzähle and would be willing mitzubezahlen, I would have probably synonymous board made another. Not only for 235 euro!
oh and my previous Asus P4P800 twice because of defects have been exchanged, had with the third last Biosversion a well-known USB problem and ran with only one of the last Biosversion properly EMU with a sound card. Only in this way relating to "compatible and free of mistakes" .... and it has about 110 euros :-)
Those who like this thread as an option or suggestion to use the issue before a similar stand. No more and no less!

With Avid, it could give problems. Have read many reports in which users of Avid's new dual core system are desperate. I have a Core 2 Duo 6400 and my Avid MC runs (except the storage manager) quite well. With Mojo I do not know
