HDC-SDX1

Frage von Hellman:
November 2010

Hi,

am "proud owner" of the HDC-SDX1 today and the first test shots in daylight (sunshine) have made. For this I've been known to automatic mode as synonymous selected the manual mode. The following is me this notice:

1. The color of the video recorded me as something to be "pale" (no preference which mode). The Color in my opinion are not really to be valid. In manual mode I have the unit set as follows. Sharpness: -1 Color: +1, exposure: 0, WB: -1 towards red.

2. When I look at the videos they are pretty sharp s.PC synonymous and very detailed. However, I perceive a feeling as if you have a slight "stutter or flicker", when the camera was moved (I filmed from the hand without tripod). This seems to me clearly see, eg tree tops visible. On my calculator it will probably not be (3 Ghz Quad Core with 8 GB RAM).

So my questions in the round:
What manual settings you used in the HDX SDX1 and the HDC-SD66 (which my camera is very similar to yes). Did anyone know the "pale" color perceive as well?
How can the jerk / fibrillation are (possibly s.Stabilisator?) Or can be a device error? Does anyone still this perception s.seinem camcorder, and if so can anything be done about it?

Otherwise I like the camcorder very good. I suspect the "problems" go to my settings back. I am therefore on the responses from the forum very excited.

A nice Sunday

Hi,

we would see as test images to assess the safe (jerk).

The test pictures of the SD (are to take on almost 1:1 of the SDX 1) 66 here in the forum (camcorders Comparison top of the bar), I find it quite good. Who does not complete the steepening may be, as I wrote back the sharpness. Unfortunately this is not in auto mode (I-car).

Everyone takes different colors true, a user may warm colors, another rather cold or neutral.

-1 In the direction of red? That should be a little cooler and drift off into the blue. Blue or -1?

Nice, however, the Panasonic offers its customers a manual adjustment.

One could even the default settings for the normal white balance change and looking whether a color temperature like better.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
put like a stream available (please explain briefly how I have to do that here in the forum).
You're right, the colors look cool in my opinion somewhat. WB had the settings adjusted in the direction of red (display -1). The colors are slightly redder.

Greetings
Hellman

Antwort von Jan:

Hi,

I'm still wrong. Yes, the cool color mood gets you out with more red.

You could upload the video on a video site (Vimeo and Youtube), what then might not be valued at 100% because many video sites and convert again to change the data rates. A small data rate could synonymous provide artifacts and stuttering.

Or upload the raw file and post the link here (eg Rapidshare).

Or do you test containing the SDX 1 again, changing quality settings in the camera (data rates), changes in manual mode, the various stabilizers (for the SDX 1 there is indeed synonymous, the combination of optical and electronical) or you put the stabilizer real time from and observed how the camera behaves. This combination of optical + edlektronisch stability can degrade the picture synonymous disadvantageous.

Hi,

I think you're right. I'll check it once a few settings (I hope the weather plays with). Since I no friend of "automatic modes" bin, I'll experiment with something.
It would be but beautiful state if one or the other from the forum would be his preferred settings.

Greetings
Hellman

Antwort von Tuffy:

I suggest you to upload a different page, rather something like www.xup.in (though only up to 15mb, but I think it's horrible to have to wait for sites like Rapidshare always so long ...)

The shaking of the tree-sounds to me something like the classic Rolling shutter, which would lie on the CMOS chip, which can not resolve directly.

Antwort von Hellman:

Hi,

have a stream at divShare.com uploaded (but are about 45 MB). I find the "jumping or" can be seen particularly well if you watched the water surface.

I looked at with the clip again. Since everything is normal, I think the stuttering is not a jerk, but the so-called comb effect hervorgerugfen by the interlaced recording process. You have the Player software to set that makes deinterlacing. What software do you use?

At the television to see the videos "normal", or?

The sharpness is quite good. The Color I would try s.Deiner place just until it fits, that is still a bit up more color and adjust the WB might shift a bit.

However, I feel the colors in the clip synonymous normal. This season sprays containing not just with colors ;-) However, I was not even on the spot, so I can only judge what I've seen the (calibrated) screen.

Greetings

Antwort von Hellman:

Hi,

Thank you for your assessment.
On television I've not yet seen the stream (but did not synonymous HD Television). If, however, to know well that the camera has no errors and everything is normal. Color appearance estimates are always relative, and is difficult to assess. As a player software I use the VLC Media Player. As editor I am Pinnacle 12 Pros.
Get to experiment a little but

A nice Sunday

Hellman.
