Hinterbandspiralkabel Anbieter für Spiralkabel gesucht

Hinterbandspiralkabel provider of coiled cable searched

Frage von goofy:
März 2006

Hello,
I wish me happy himself a Hinterbandkabel Camera / mixer assembling.
Unfortunately it is very difficult to find a provider offering the spiral cable.
Maybe someone here has an idea.
The cable should have as 7-9 cores plus screen to be highly flexible, silicone, etc. jacketed (soft).
InsideWeb something like this can not be found, what they have with Conrad is too rigid and too short.
?
Regards
Paul

http://www.sommercable.com/ has a great deal.
Spiral cable with 7 to 9 veins seems to me, but something much, what's there drübergehn everything?

Antwort von goofy:

So in the summer of Cable, I'm not so directly have been productive, because I can not find a single coiled cable.
But thank you.
It should go over 2 channels balanced, so are schonmal 5 way veins (1 mass), then 2 cores s.liebsten for the return.
Does 7 is a lot might not synonymous to take the screen for the mass return, and as I'd synonymous Mono rich vein that makes 6 wires plus shield, 7 but may be better because of the extra screen.
Did the 9 times just thrown into the room, yes'd bother nciht synonymous.

In the LEMO catalog http://sung-shin.com/kboard/board/filedown.ets?down_num=1&board_id=1_7&group_name=333&c_num=3&file=1 stands, they could spiralisieren every classic line from PUR or PVC. Otherwise, this looks really amazingly bad.

Interesting!
But somehow I bezfeifle If a proffesional results since then riff (?)

Antwort von ludwig.s:

I'm able to find.
"To make extending coiled cable, where off-the-shelf multicore coiled flex is not available
: This method will work on relatively thick sleeved cable ie mains rather
: Than signal.
: Find some wooden dowel of the intended internal diameter of the coiled cable.
: Nail one end of the plain cable to the dowwel, fix the other end in a vice; twist the dowel
: Until the cable "upsets." Rolling the cable onto the dowel in the sense that the contracts
: Helix on the dowel, nail the end that was in the vice.
: Now while turning the dowel heat with a hot air gun to the point where the sleeving is
: About to melt, allow to cool. "

Not very easy to regulate, possible to get wrong, it's easier if you use a
boiling water bath, use one piece of cable sa former, wrap the second
round it under tension, then submerge in water bath for 20 mins or so.

But the halt is only with PVC and PUR cables, if I understand it as a rigid PUR is synonymous zeugs such as PVC.

If I understand it, I can, for example, this microphone cable 8 conductor shielded einzenl.

ML 808-10 Reichelt take of not feeling well, because it probably is not made of PVC or polyurethane, and it is therefore not workable? Any Ideas

Lemo will be there beyond doubt

Antwort von goofy:

Ok probably true
I hope the result is permanent synonymous.
I esgerade times with a normal cordless microphone rest and tried a hair dryer, well, not quite so well.
Perhaps something will come nem with hot air, so boiling water since probably not enough.
Oh for the info, the cable is rubbery! How does all microphone cables.
