Hi! I'm currently working with Adobe premiere pro cs 4, with which I am zufriden more or less. I have a PC with an Intel pentium 4 x 2.6 Ghz Quad Processor, 7 GB DDR 2 RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT graphics card and Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit version.
My biggest worry at premiere cs 4 are:
- A sometimes very jerky Workflow with AVCHD footage (;. Mts files), especially if you move the playhead on the Timeline or rewind the film. Often moving the Picture not only very laborious or
- But the very blurred slow motion when you stretch the clips to a playback speed of less than 70%. It has often been very strong flicker and flutter in the Picture
- The multi-functional camera, which works only with up to 4 cameras simultaneously
Is CS 5 in the am. score better?

So I can only recommend CS5. By the 64-bit video card support and assistance it can not really compare with CS4.
Running very stable and above all nice and quickly.
