Frage zu Let's Edit2 in verbindung mit IrfanView

Let's Edit2 question in connection with IrfanView

Frage von wolf41:
September 2006

Hello,
I created with my Canon IXUS 500 video clips and with the Canon ZoomBrowser copied onto my PC. Since I've worked for my photos very happy with the video clips now IrfanView IrfanView as Avi files are stored.
Unfortunately, I now get to upload in Lets Edit 2, an error message that the Avi file format is not supported. How can you help me?
Thanks for your answers.
Wolfgang

This has nothing to do with Irfan View. The file type has been assigned solely to the program, IrfanView. That is, if you on a video file in Windows Explorer with the icon is clicking against Irfan View Irfan View to me open. That you can change in Explorer under Tools-> folder options-> File Types.

Tests are used again with GSpot (freeware) which codecs for the files and whether they exist on your system.
Can you play the files in Irfanview or Media Player?

Antwort von wolf41:

I downloaded GSpot and post a video clip analyzed: codec MJPG (Motion JPEG). Message: codecs are installed. The clip can be easily played with the Windows Media Player. How can I convert the clips into normal IrfanView, maybe that would help, or you have another idea?
Thanks Wolfgang

PS: IrfanView has rel complicated settings. Who knows the way there. Vielleich missing is a check mark somewhere??

Antwort von wolf41:

way with Pinnacle Studio 9 can easily edit them the same clips ...
have some clips loaded together into a small film and output as an AVI file.
Again, this file can be with Edit2 let's not import ....

He who knows himself well with Edit2 Let's have an idea of how I can get ahead. I've only worked with this program and think it's actually much better than Pinnacle ...
Thank you
Wolfgang

Have you actually read what I had written above?

Antwort von wolf41:

I said yes:
1. I downloaded GSpot and then analyze the video clips
Codec is available on the computer
2. the clips have successfully played with Media Player
3. I can load the clips in Pinnacle 9
4. Have an AVI file with Pinnacle created from multiple clips
5. Again, this AVI file could not process edit Lets

What have I done wrong now?
How do I get next?
What settings need to be reviewed and amended, and to hire?
Thank you
Wolfgang

Antwort von Leini:

Hello,

Lets Edit can only read DV AVIs (version 2) or Canopus AVI or MPEG2 and 1st MotionJPEG can not LE2. Should you convert - Procoder Express may perhaps, or select the Save in Pinnacle the Canopus codec if that works.

There are shareware or freeware for converting of clips can be read in a codec, the Let's Edit? Who has experience with the topic?
I have still another synonymous camera recorded clips that are saved with. ASF with. According to GSpot: ASF (.WMA / .wmv), mime type video / x-ms-asf. For codec was nothing. (These are for me Bohemian villages).
I would like intercutting all the clips into a movie ...
who has already done something once, and can help me??
Thank you
Wolfgang
