Hello NG, the capturing of video material, I often have to say that the sound is right Driven rare. Sometimes he's too quiet times and everything is overridden. Can we persuade the AC97 onboard to it when recording the sound at the same time placing it on the output? Then I could tap him here, put on my headphones to the mixer and set the controller in the XP recording volume control according to optimal. I capture with the RT.X100 PREMIERE under 1.51. There is unfortunately no meter exists (or did I just have not found it did - the system only a few days?) How are you doing this? Gruß Norbert

Supplement: Must specify it again. Problem does not hold for the capturing via FireWire, but the recording of analogue material (TV, SVHS tapes). I've found out, that is muted when using the Windows Sound Recorder to the output. When capturing the RT.X100 PREMIERE and the Windows recording volume control remains ineffective. I was doing something wrong? Gruß Norbert

Has anyone even a suggestion, if I can not spend even a few hundred extra euros for the Canopus? Gruß Norbert

I remembered something else: You might as readout for the level control (known as VU meters) as a VCR with appropriate equipment s.den audio output of the Matrox card hanging.
Then you set the output volume to 0 dB, for example, with Premiere "strips and Sound". Now you can change the input level so that the output level (s.VU not live refuses to read meters) above 0 dB. If in doubt, sufficient (but expect a not too much) with headroom.
I have not even tried this yet, but it could work.
