quite new in this forum and the same question ne. Has anyone experience with the Mac Book Pro 17 "as a computer interface. I want to finally start my SonyHC1 with the films to be cut and standing before the election Aplle or Windows. I would like to have a mobile computer. The alternative to Apple would be a 17 "of HP. I have experience with the 15 "Macbook Pro, so the small version and for me, everything superfluous. Is the Adobe software suite.

thanks for the quick reply. Why does not Adobe and Final Cut Express? What exactly of Adobe HDV and cut you. The technology in the 15 "is the best of my knowledge the same as in 17"

Yes, the technology is almost the same as the 17 "has increased NEN Processor. I cut HDV with Premiere CS3 and as I said runs great. I am opposed to Final Cut, because Adobe me a better price bid for more power. Furthermore, it is my opinion jacket trousers if you like Final Cut or Premiere takes is as good as equal. At least I have noticed no difference. For Adobe, however, is the interaction between the different programs for me simply unbeatable.

Not necessarily: We are synonymous, the 15 "version with the same 2,4 or 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo as the 17"-Book.

I am working on a MBP 15 "as the 17" help me test sample was simply too hot (when it is fully auslastet) are synonymous, but a tool for the fan to manual control.
Does everything super redundant and synonymous with no problems.

What graphics card do you have in your MCP for 15 "in it? The 256mb or 512? Running Programs like Premiere and AFX problems with the new 2.4 GHz, 2gb ram and 256mb of graka?

So I'm working currently on my 17 "Macbook Pro (2.33 GHz C2D, 2GB Ram, 256MB ATI RadeonX1600).
I run FinalCut Studio 2 + Adobe Production Suite ... everything runs great!
