I start a film shortly s.and training needs me at home an Apple cut up the place.
I tend to make the following configuration:

Now my question: would it bring much, instead of 2.8 - the 3.0-processors to take? You should have the box with decent HDV can cut and animation it should be sufficient synonymous (no big animated content but different motion graphics stuff and so). Have at least 1060 CHF (about 650 euro) price difference between the 2.8 GHz and 3.0 GHz processors. From her, I would already located, if it for 2.8 version would suffice.
Then I still need two monitors. In the graphics area, I have very good experience with Dell Monitors done. This model would be cheap at the moment to have: LCD flat panel widescreen Dell E207WFP with 20 inch (Artiksilber, TCO'03)

Were it good with two such monitors or me would you recommend another model? On the course I would prefer two Apple Cinema Display, but unfortunately I am definitely too expensive.

The 4 gb you can save on apple. go to the Apple Education Store, UNIMALL, Macatcampus or AOC. The 4 GB s.besten when you buy UNIMALL it. The 2.8er quite enough.

the 2.8er enough by far. the ram in no instance to buy directly from apple (too expensive) alternative in switzerland for example Letec and other providers. vorallem I'd see to it that you only buy the hardware if you are officially enrolled, except for your school (where are you doing the training?) of apple is not recognized, otherwise you could save a few hundred francs at Apple on Campus. finger away, I would because of synonymous dell screens, which have a TN panel, not just with color and shine for your application, therefore, probably less interesting. In view of HDV, I would stop synonymous look, that you tend to 1920x1200er screens aufbaust. appleanita see the top, but are not the best, especially not in their price range (keyword: color calibration).

how is it with the second harddisk? would be as synonymous worth to buy it separately? two monitors, I would just watch that you do not take with TN, leader of gibts Eizo and NEC, look at prad.de regarding past recommendations. I am speculating a bit on the new l220x of lenovo (22 "1920x1200 and no TN) incidentally saugünstig the part (s.634 .- CHF) after a small quantity here in switzerland was sold, seem unable to come up to top march, as in Germany. I would like to be synonymous namely two new stand :-)
