Hello, I have a JVC GR-D200 MiniDV and would like to have my recording on the PC bez. to get the iMac. The problem is that I do not have and the software I downloaded does not have. When I connect via USB Cam detects the PC it does not even. I do not know more next!

Use Firewire, not USB, as shown here about 2000 times already said :-) Then you need no software synonymous.
