Eigenes Footage in virtuelle Landschaft integrieren

Own Footage integrate into virtual landscape

Frage von Trolleule:
Mai 2009

Hello,
I have a Dragon Ball Z scene, a part of a landscape in 3ds max modeling, two rocks.

A Picture of me in front of a green screen, I would like now in After Effects along with the rocks and a history as a background mix.

I have a test as a rock. Rpf file exported and imported into After Effects. Plus a history of white and blue to the picture with the green screen which I have adapted with Keylight. So I made a first impression.

I call myself just as a figure with the figure on the rock position applies:
The figure looks unnatural in the environment from when I do, without further processing on the rock position, it acts just unprofessional. The scene will appear as if the figure on the rocks really are and not as it was a purely Beginners there geschnitten.

What criteria / Effects are needed around the character as closely as possible into the environment.

I use the version of CS4, After Effects for me so far is only the Functional known, as some effects and functions, because my focus so far was on 3ds max, but keep the familiarization phase;).

AE seems to be no "Crop" tool to have ^ ^ sorry, the keying is in this test image is not perfectly synonymous geklappt (see arm), but the impression should serve as the first. If what I forgot to say please, if anyone has ideas, tutorials, and I'm grateful for everything.

Thank you in advance for your efforts.

Hi

Also in Cinema4D würd I view the video on a surface and pull the surface in the 3D world.

So I knnte simple video of a shadow figure on the bottom of the rocks produce.

In addition, then blur with masks contour treat the characters as well as with the virtual camera to create more depth so that it looks not so Plakativ.

The pale blue sky gradient würd thing I like a real sky replace - either Still Image (HDR) or just via 3D progi (Terragen) create

With AE you can do all but synonymous, it is relatively free spirit - I would prefer as far as it goes to work in 3D and only then the 3 levels after the render in AE together. (Saves synonymous Render time)

Antwort von Trolleule:

Hi thanks for the reply.
That with the shadows, I have not yet fully understood. The figure is available as a JPEG, how do I proceed if I have this picture on a plane and this area prefer to place the rocks?
I would be synonymous on any tutorials pleased, because I do not know exactly what I must look.

Thanks in advance.

Antwort von B.DeKid:

How? Is now a jpeg or as Avi with alpha channel (ie gekeyed) before?

As a jpeg (without movement) do in Photoshop or GIMP

Looks like maybe like my Free Tibet Picture

.................................

As Avi (ie, moving picture) I would be on a plane (without Depth rectangle) in a 3D progi as texture mapping.

The shadow is then when you come into the 3D progi lights and the area continues to be subjected to shade.

If you are the rock give an edge to the feet obscured - hovers the figure is no longer on / over the rocks.

Antwort von Trolleule:

Sorry, video footage is thought pictures are included.
The overall scene, a picture, no animation. Accordingly, the Picture synonymous with the Green Screen (JPEG) and the rock, which unfortunately is not yet ready (RPF with alpha channel). The rock - if he is ready - as a mirror, I copy and modify it, so I have two diagonally opposite rocks, later. Lights and shadows in 3ds max me familiar, but I wonder how the 2D Picture a shadow is cast, if I understand it now as a texture on a surface drag.

Unfortunately, difficult to conceive. Could you vllt. based on the pictures.

For the background I will use a real sky, thanks for the tip, and I would darken the sky, so black with gray clouds, a sombre atmosphere as possible.

I must say that I am the rock without a camera have rendered, but to do what I will. I can give you now only the old rocks and the figure offer for the rest of me being the missing skill. See Appendix.

Thank you for your effort and your help. Thank you.

PS: What I think still is important to mention:
I use AE because I am in the hands of the character downed "Kamehameha" and I would like to lay to know a good tutorial (Youtube: Kamehameha tutorial)

Antwort von B.DeKid:

Ich lad me down just because times Bastel and 15 minutes, I'm just here to have s.malen da passt das ... equal to

....................

Oh, quite an in Picture as texture in 3D can PROGIS synonymous shadows - aka Siehr target light emitters

PS Send the rocky times better than Picture file is das hab kei 3DMax

Antwort von Trolleule:

Thank you. I did with the shadow of just such a way as to have understood. Logically, an area synonymous raises only the shadow of a plane, no preference to what texture it is, but surely you mean something else.

Antwort von B.DeKid:

Well if the picture surface with transparency is then casts the shadow only where you can be seen as art

Here I have you ne PNG with transparency made.

Put the time on the surface in 3Dmax

Antwort von B.DeKid:

Here I have what you have done degree.

Have you just as a texture in Second Life fetched and flown'm drum rum ... the kostett me no render time than now to make Maxon s.zu .... I had so much boredom but then not

Length with Surface aaufstellen - Screen Capture and convert small ca 10 min. ) Original capture approximately 200 MB

Antwort von B.DeKid:

Here I have you in times 4Sek Maxon made Bzgl shadow --

Sorry you had right, of course, with a surface in 3D - an area as a shadow casts

Therefore I have to cut out the segments (segments to 200 per X and Y - lasso tool to draw and then weglöschen - is synonymous with WacomStift very fast,-p

Then throws the right shade synonymous
You have 3 Screenshot and the AVI file in nem Rar Package

Hi,
damn you're cute ^ ^. Thank you for your visual presentations.

That's true, but you had with a more detailed description of your absolutely right.

I have the texture in the layer opacity of my map and put it on the mono channel alpha set, then the map of the area assigned and a light is installed, it worked.

Thus it would be useful if I figure in 3ds max and then import these steps take place in AE to make, ie the rock with figure after AE export.

Then there is still a matter for the assembly. Shall I direct both rocks with relative position, background and camera view, so already the complete environment in 3ds max to create, or rather Felsen1 with Figur1, background and Felsen2 with Figur2 individually and render in AE join?

Thank you!

Antwort von B.DeKid:

Gude

I would render objects separately and then together aka posotionieren - if ever need ..... regarding the rendering effort

But right now I must first match, I'm still something about this later - I just must first be awake;-P

Antwort von Trolleule:

OK no stress colleague ^ ^.

If you what change, I am pleased about your answer. Interesting would be a final solution to the figure / Shade:

1. only shadows in 3ds max Render, which would mean that I think the positioning of the figure in AE need to carry, but I have to throw the shadow of the eighth would have.
2. Together with the shadow figure in 3ds max, which would mean that I think the positioning on the rock may be determined and the step is in AE.

As long as I improve my rock.

Thank you in advance.

Antwort von B.DeKid:

So just a short note

So for some projects where I am real footage in 3D binding, I agree with the layer on the rendering time to shorten or light as some FX in AE süäter edit ....

This comes naturally to the set of FX, a nice How2 this approach can be found in the bonus material of Final Fantasy seen.

As particles, lighting, etc. and extra rendered in AE and added back together.

Geh mal kucken worth ;-)

Antwort von Trolleule:

Thanks for the hint.

I'm not a fan of Final Fantasy, therefore no bonus material. This is my first Project and because I have so far generally synonymous on "how I combine with Real 3D" no I've found, I'm going all the way to judge your ideas.

Once you know closer to the end, let me know.

Edit: The pages are no more than inspiring, with the second Page is dead, presumably now at this link to reach
