Problems with 16:9 and 4:3

Frage von the_flasher:
Dezember 2007

Hello,

I own a Canon HV20 and I try a little Magix Video Deluxe 2007 to incorporate.

I have my film in HDV 16: 9.

When I do the film now in Magix reinlade, the synonymous as 1440:1080 16:9 detected. The problem is that if I now take the film as a 1440 x 1080 16:9 export, no preference in what format and then I film with Windows Media Player, there is a 4:3 picture and no 16:9.

A 16:9 picture I just get, if I put my video with a Resolutionvon 1920x1080 export, but I think that must not be.

Can I perhaps someone just say what I do wrong? There must be a possibility but this is all about.

Antwort von bachler:

Hi, So purely arithmetically 1440:1080 is a 4:3 format.
But I have read somewhere that can still be 16:9 and davob although it depends on whether the pixels in the film a quadratic form.

My video can not quadatischen pixel, because otherwise this would indeed 1440:1080 Magix video as 4:3, but it is a 16:9 format and recognized in the preview is synonymous a 16:9 video displayed.

The problem is here but definiiv in Ausagbe and although the stubborn Magix says 1440:1080 is 4:3 and everything else does not interest me.

The problem is many people must be known. Do not believe that this is a special case, so please write something about this.

Antwort von bachler:

may be because the HV20 true 16:9?

Antwort von the_flasher:

So, what do I know?

I know that the chip of the camera with a Picture Resolutionvon 1920:1080 absorbs. That is true 16:9.
Thereafter, the Resolutionauf 1440:1080 is low, so the material will conform HDV. 1440:1080, it is still 16:9.
The pixel ratio was changed halt, there are no more pixels square.

Magix recognize the synonymous. In the display, I have a Picture of 1440:1080 in 16:9 format.

Only the Ausagbe no longer hold true.

Antwort von A380:

Hello from Bremen,

times hit the "E" button. This brings you into the film settings.

Is there in the video settings synonymous 16:9 or body where your HDV2 = 1440 * 108 A.
