Propelled floating stand

Hi folks,

I am currently try s.einem Project to me during the shoot to bring "special" recordings.

Basically I want to tighten just a camcorder to a RC car and shoot so that other mobile objects. However, I would slow down bumps and vehicle tilt as much as possible. Therefore, it should be a kind of traveling floating tripod.

As a base to serve a remote-controlled 1 / 8 Auto.
However, I think, after much synonymous with the currently planned Kameraaufhänung not fully satisfied (to build because quite bulky and expensive) and synonymous not sure if the operating principle is correct.

Therefore I present here is the idea just before as it stood, and hope you can help me find an optimal solution.
On the picture the camera is mounted in a cage (gray line). This cage is a universal joint on the outer frame (black) attached, so that the camera like a pendulum can swing freely.
To dampen this vibration, shock s.allen 4 pages are attached. Here I am synonymous not sure whether to leave the springs in the damper completely.

Gude what I once had as an idea was this:

You simply use a Schiffskompas suspension.
Which is centrally mounted a quick release plate.

If then the holder of the Kompas suspension is sprung then that should be pretty stable.

Furthermore, it is still on the attenuation of the RC cars s.and its own weight.

All in all, it should all be pretty stable then.

We then had to use once synonymous with the idea of an RC hovercraft ;-)

The problem is that the camera itself begins to oscillate. The ship's compass with the suspension is only good if the focus is on the two pivot points, otherwise it's out and swing like ne more Schwankerei than before or during braking in the turns. First try it as it looks without compensation function. If that is not built correctly, then it makes the picture worse than it would with a fixed mounting. Then look rather good ground, bissal test what works well and quickly cut ^ ^

With a tripod suspended the construction will have to do much, because the emphasis so far below the universal joint and is thus a very fast swing rate will be given. The shocks are a good idea, but you must still expect that the camera will look at each acceleration in the ground and at each brake in the sky and depending on the damping nachpendeln degree. What with a lateral stability and the Cam itself is on a small bed of water that is to counteract the vibrations? And it is not easy, perhaps a small stable Wasserbeet build. : D
