Your graphics card converts the digital signal at an analog to the S-video output.

I believe that you have your problem not yet adequately described. WHEN you have one line jumps? In the final rendered? On what equipment? In the preview section?
Expressed the other way around: If you just should do nothing else than that you monitor the program of transferring CS3 rather than on the pc monitor to a plasma monitor, you still have my opinion nothing gained if you have not noticed before, the cut line at the jumps.
