I hope I did not ask this question on the 412th times. I have acquired a Panasonic NV-GS 500th For me as an absolute Beginners I work with ULEAD 8 s.PC. I cut some footage and set to music, and all this without any problems. Now to my question: ULEAD gives me a standard size as 320/480. Am I right if I change the image size to 720/576, and what I need to know if I want to handle the format 4:3 or 16:9.

image size is ok. Output format always enstsprechend the source material. Have you recorded in 16:9, I would spend synonymous in 16:9. Eighth synonymous to a reasonable compression rate (bitrate).

Did you with Ulead 8, Ulead Video Studio 8 or Ulead Media Studio 8?
Steveb As I said, the size of the output format was supposed to be always the size of the original format, with standard DV 720 S.576 and consequently, in 16:9 mode according to 720 to 480 pixels.

at least in Media Studio, there are ready-made project templates for PAL DV
