What "Klaus" in this article about the "true" 16:9 the VX1000 writes, applies to all DV cameras with the exception of the Canon XL2. This mode can only be used if one with the artifacts and the resolution loss wants to live, or in any plans, as the 16:9 letterbox in a 4:3 using Project.
There are already more camcorder with "good" 16:9 mode synonymous if they do not have 16:9 chips. The trick is that 4:3-chips with higher Resolutionverwendet, so that the quality in 16:9 mode, the 4:3-mode is not. Under the trim, however, suffers from the Wide Angleund / or function of the electronic image stabilizer.
