Recently, I have ne Xm2 bestellt.Der at that time used only filmer TDK Tapes.Gerne I want to change the sony as I've heard that they are better .. My question is, therefore, Do I have to go through another reinigunstape? 2nd When I am with the xm2 my footy on the Mac, I can upload it to damage the camera?

Nonsense ... are you can do all sorts of tapes pure, but one can not tell whether certain types of tape may produce dropouts .... pure experience thing.
A Reinigungstape would use I may not erstmal.
And your Mac will be perfectly synonymous no preference which supplies him with tape, the digital data.

PS: TDK and Panasonic (; Maxwell), I find perso. Sonyand better than me coming into my DAT tapes SONY NEVER again! This has almost ruined me, finally, a sound s.Set times when I would not like earlier times always tested whether the images clean.

I have hunted in the past two years, all possible kinds of tapes through my XM2. Problems that were traced back the cause of the tapes, there was still happily ever.

Tapes of various manufacturers to mix my experience, is not good for the video head. As each tape leaves the barrel of the rotating head drum abrasion and works with any Manufacturer various coil coating, can lead to chemical reactions. If the different coatings are not tolerated, a micro film of lubricant can occur on the drum, which then leads to increased dropouts. If your predecessor has durchgenudelt just a brand, and now, once you changed to another, then there should be no Probs. Only regular and frequent changing of the tapes may or may not lead to Probs.
