I stand before this problem. A friend of me has already made good experiences in the transmission of video cassettes to the PC via its SonyPD 170 as an analog-digital converter.
I wanted to try synonymous with my PD 150 only does it not. Did everything according to manual connected:
- VCR with RCA on Camera - Camera via firewire s.Mac - Camera to VCR - Camera in the menu on AV Digital VCR to ON - Videotape and purely on Play button - Final Cut (or iMovie, both to the same result) and captured
There is no signal, I can say the video does not capture. Do I have anything or does it change with the PD 150 and simply just do not? Ich hab halt the PD 170 manual, with the menu, etc. actually identical.
The video is of the newer varieties and fully functional. I just do not come out

I have the 150'er and there's this point, he just says to me "A / V -> DV OUT" and that is when I set to ON, ie it converts an incoming A / V signal and sends DV's on Firewire out.
If it is really up to you "AV Digital VRC" jeißt and set to ON, then ev is exactly upside down, ie it is the material of the Firewire A / V jack to record.
Try it with OFF times since - maybe just a Sonyda item's assigned to the general confusion "flipped" * g *

So does it work for you with your PD 150 or? 'm With my Latin s.Ende because not want to work. On the Mac it is in my opinion are not synonymous because the so simply capturing needs and nothing more.
