VHS zum PC Verkabelung

VHS to PC Wiring

Frage von nalem:
April 2006

Hi,
I really wanted to burn my VHS than DVD, but what is either broken or I have the wrong cable connected.
So I'm s.Videorecorder a SCART / RCA adapter, the switch is on out. From there, the cable goes from the S-video connection to S-video connection to my video camera (SonyTRV 120E) and of there via Firewire into the calculator.
On the one tape I get only a Schwar-white picture, of the other I only get nen strips on top. I finally s.den the recorder to television, running both cassettes normal.
Thus, I can probably exclude that the tape or the recorder is broken.
From the camera, I can synonymous transferred to a PC. So the fault must lie between video and camera.

Thank you for your help schonmal

Good observed. The problem is the following:

Is your VHS recorder from a S-video signal (like a SVHS recorder)? (The question is rhetorical and meant to be understood as food for thought).

Antwort von nalem:

Hi Markus,

thanks for the quick reply.
A food for thought is not bad, but I still can not get next.
Last year, everything works without problems, as I am with the VCR directly into the calculator (TV card), but suddenly, it was not longer (only picture, no sound more) and I do not know why. Now I'm frustrated rangetraut me again and again, because although the TV card Pinnacle Studio9 recognize, but I get no picture in the preview anyway, if I go directly through the calculator and the camera does not interpose.
So I'm going to look after the exclusion process or other means.

The TV card to let the outside and instead use the camcorder for digitizing, is a qualitative advantage!

FireWire FAQ">1. (c) Why not using graphics capture card, TV card or Videograbber?

A VHS recorder is only a composite of signal, but no S-video. For this reason, the picture is black and white. The camcorder gets something else (composite) than he expected (S-video).

Hello,

I found grad yet another cable. It has a Page on the 3 RCA Male and on the other Page only one time, of which I do not know what he means. In any case, it fits into the camera and bring me over the Picture. Synonymous, and the sound. * freu *
BUT! Could it be that dubbing can not be any tape? Both cartridges can s.Television watch normally. But only one can be transferred to Studio9, of the other I get only a narrow strip at the top s.Rand.

Antwort von Markus:

If it is copy-protected originals? Or, to master tapes, was analogous to the linear cut?

In both cases, the video signal may not conform with the standards. A television usually has a relatively large capture range for such "excesses", but a camcorder / recorder there is thus often difficult. A solution could be Timebase Corrector (TBC), but whether something is worthwhile for one or two overdubs?

Or consult a professional in order. Of course, this only works if there are no copy-buying cassettes.

Antwort von nalem:

They are both cartridges are private recordings of cameras that have been transferred to VHS.
The tape, which is run of 1989 and those who did not run the of is 2006. As I said, can see both. So my understanding is lagging behind for reasons of malfunction.
What can I do?

LG nalem

Antwort von Markus:

Okay, that was a few details. My solutions are already in the previous posting.

What will you do now?

Antwort von nalem:

Hmm, I do not know really. A 2nd Copy of the video will not really help me.
So I need either the original camera tapes or do I need to do it ".
Have I now understood that there is no software solution for?

LG nalem

Antwort von Markus:

A software that can only be to reappraise what provides the hardware. And when the analog signal is digitized so flawed, you have to fix the analog signal and not just when the digital data to get a better result.

Antwort von nalem:

Hi All,

it was probably not s.den videocassettes, because there are now only two cassettes in the stripes and s.and s.ein Picture to see.
A 2nd VCR I've tested synonymous, but because it is not synonymous. From the camera I can capture normal synonymous. So the problem must probably be the cable between the VCR and Camera?
But yes, it really fits. On the VCR IN / OUT scart adapter that appears on OUT hangs out the 3 RCA connectors are plugged and the cable ends with a single time that goes into the camera, stands in a socket on the audio / video.

Can someone please tell me where I might have the bug, or how do I get the problem solved?

Thank you very much

If you are so sure you know, you can picture the cause of the disorder so easy to fix. I contributed my ideas and now can do nothing more for you. Everything else (trying) now lies with you

Good luck still.

Antwort von nalem:

Sorry, but if I could fix the problem so easily, then I would not post.
I have already tasted synonymous card goes directly into the TV. Which is recognized synonymous of Studio9, but I'll get there, not even a Flimm image, as is equal to all black.
So I ask in the forum, because I can think of no longer an option.
