Has anyone here Instructions on installation of additional W-XP to a Vista-based calculator of the rod, ie dual-boot option?
Or would it be better to space for the boot disk on a removable disk and rebuild their own W-XP-boot disk set?
Has someone already experience gathered in this direction?

Klar is das but you need two separate primary partitions. On one is not. Andersheraum wär's easier.
Here's how: If Vista is already on it, just Windows XP via CD-boot on a free partition.
Windwos then overwrites the MBR and Vista does not boot mehr.Und now simply the Vista DVD and restore function using the Vista - Boot Menu repair. Most Vista recognizes the problem myself and after twice through the Vista boot repair, everything is back in the Lot. Now Windows XP will no longer be displayed.
With http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 but you can modify the boot menu that synonymous the XP will be listed again.
The entry in the boot loader in the boot partition looks like this:

Although there are windows of itself a boot manager - or external boot manager, such as of Acronis.
Synonymous But I do in my system so - Icybox pure, and 2 plates for the two systems - XP SP2, and Vista 64 bit.

If, however, yet another record in the system, it can be a problem if Vista and XP to access it. I have solved it so that I think this panel VISA can disable and enable my video data on XP fine on this album manage. The same problem has been synonymous, if you change the boot disks. I thought so for example if you still have a third plate. Because when you cut for performance reasons s.besten two physically separate plates should have, you have exactly the problem. eg Plate 1: VISTA, Plate 2: XP disk and 3: data. The third panel in the system is thus no preference whether the VISTA disk or the XP disk is active. VISTA now this record speaks s.and changed it so that it causes a problem if XP is just synonymous to this panel access. If no preference if you have two disks for the operating systems or have only two partitions. I suspect that the user management in s.der VISTA is prevented that someone else on these data. If you under Vista and XP the same username and the same password is used, you have no problems with the data.

I can not confirm with me. Files which I with XP on this disk were copied in VISTA not visible and vice versa.

Yes, I (;-))
New plate clean XP install, done. Think! It was for this "calculator of the shelf" or drivers for the on-board GraKa, nor for the installed LW.
Our solution: The part where back and bought one without BS.
Conclusion: VISTA is still a lot of trouble to pay!
