hello, So I try in vain to capture my videos with the vx1000 and NEN macbook pro with firewire 400, which recognizes the camera macbook not indeed! I have to make the cut on a program? I thought that is synonymous so .. It lies vll synonymous s.kabel is new, but 4pin to 6pin firewire! 've already tried pretty much everything, restart the laptop player mode for current and so on.
please help!

Any Capture program you need, of course, can not function otherwise the whole thing. Try it just once with iMovie, which should be installed on the MacBook anyway.

And what do I have in iMovie do exactly? The camera is never recognized it!

Can not say I lack detailed knowledge of this program, unfortunately. However, iMovie should be self-explanatory, or you look in the help.
