Zylight

Frage von glücksgriff:
Juni 2008

Hello

If we believe a video on youtube, the Zylight blog and the website of the lamp should Zylight THE revolution. Any light temperature adjustable, dimmable, no heat, long life, low weight, less than two Wirlesskommunikation devices ... Unfortunately, the price is still no revolution. But if what is good.

Has anyone experience with Zylight? Where to buy? Thanks for your answers.

When the topic of "Zylight" the beginning of the year here in the forum for Language was held on the experience and, oddly, even the interest s.diesen revolutionary LED lights unfortunately in very narrow limits. I would be synonymous for experience reports from the field of interest, because everything I've read about the lights, is impressive. The price is indeed room for improvement, but given the performance but then again quite visible.

Hello. Then I take but the times on me and check the Zylight. Hopefully synonymous succeed me in my limited experience. But I could be the Swiss importer abluchsen test, he will be synonymous to import and sell to me.

Only a big question mark is: The power supply runs through a 12-volt adapter? Where do I get something and corresponding Batteries? Since I do not look through. The XLR connector of my Canon XH-A1 (Phantom power) can not, or? Is there any part of an intermediate that of 48 is reduced to 12 volts? About useful information, I look huge.

Gruz, Tom.

Both Zylights can have a fairly wide voltage range with power supply - the z90, for example, with 7 to 24 volts. Cable Connections for the usual (4-pin XLR and D-tap), there are of Zylight as well as a lithium-polymer battery. Detailed info can be found on the Zylight homepage. The 3-pin XLR connections the XH-A1 will help you nothing: you are pure microphone inputs.

Thanks Bernd. What, however, I still do not understand: With a 4 - XLR connector, or D-tap, where comes the juice? Is this a battery strap?

Is there a solution for what I do not even need to solder, but not vast sums synonymous cost? A Battery-belt? A Battery with XLR output? Purchase Recommendation? Because really, I refer to the Battery-Zylight refrain.

Oh yes, and to my ignorance even more to clarify: What is an Anton Bauer adapter?

Thank you very much already!

That is a possibility, but it may just as the (shoulder) camcorder or even a commercial-Lead Battery. The latter would certainly be the cheapest way. And if you do not need to be mobile, remains synonymous nor the power supply.

What the adapter adapts while, I know without further info not synonymous, but "Anton Bauer" (= name of the manufacturer) in this case is another name for the D-Tap connector.
