s.imac work with OS 10.4.1 and the corresponding imovie 6.03. have HD material of the SANYO HD to imovie loaded + sound of itunes. a diaphragm fitted ziwschen the scenes (always the same type) and then exported to MPG4. the result is terrible: totally pixelated. what I do wrong? thank you very much. darby

Proposal: First Export as QT file with (compared to your timeline, presumably AIC) unchanged settings.
Then click Export in QT, MPEG-4, Options ... The final settings in terms of format, codec and streaming rate making. Please Check if your QT Player provides this export option, which I can not say with certainty, since I use QT Pro.
