sgBlade 35mm Adapter

sgBlade 35mm

Frage von Basti27:
April 2009

Dear People,

yesterday it was time and the UPS man knocked s.meine door. My brand new sgBlade has arrived. And since probably all the unpacking s.sich fun I have the whole thing a few times with images documented.

As the successor of the currently sgPro something somehow disappear in the valley, I thought, I bring a couple of times photos online ;-)

http://www.missedpixel.com/sgblade

The nice weather has me today synonymous with the same device into the free draw, and even though I have absolutely no fan of the most boring to Einpennen nature films'm pure, it was my job today for test shots. Final Cut Pro renders yet, I invite the shots tomorrow Vimeo still high, then comes something synonymous to look (; grotto with poor handling of the Followfocus, as do I have with friends and practice)

Regards

The APAT looks very much like P & S from reproduction, so times can we write the well is.

Why did you actually use some 35mm bought, I think it will not be long and you can get for the money and of a CameraLink camera with a sensor S35mm.

2. Aha, very poor, more info would be great ;-)

Bin after the first test more than satisfied. Very good process and makes a very clean picture with no noticeable grain or vignetting. Very bright. Despite all that, the next s.Wochenende testing what he can and what not ...

Antwort von Debonnaire:

I'm anxious to see the pictures! Hold us up to date!

Antwort von Basti27:

So,

The first shots are available online. Have a look the best results zusammengeschnippelt, so please do not on any kind s.Dramaturgie hope.

On the weekend I will be somewhat intimate with the company. The first shots were more or less a Stoßlüften and warlos drauflos filmed. Nevertheless, a few nice pictures with escaped.

Antwort von Debonnaire:

Hi Basti!

I like the pictures very! Just from the visual, not necessarily from the films business, which is so synonymous was not the subject!

What hast thou now total for this equipment (in addition to the Camera) paid?

Antwort von Basti27:

Hi,

the order amounted to:

sgBlade with Rotorazer1 the Flipmodule additional tripod sled for Rodsupport Canon FD Mound, StepUp Ring 37-72mm, Followfocus + 3 Lensgears. Free shipping.

In the course of current euros pounds a pure joy :-)

The bottom line is then £ 1512.25 .... say about 1600 Euro.

Even the shipping Leif reibunglos, when I am always a little skeptical when ordering from outside the bin. Serious, super service and prompt contact, I was surprised (despite the 6 weeks delivery. The advance was given and was met exactly synonymous)

Regards

Antwort von Axel:

A suitable device that indicates the film. Typical subjects for testing. Analysis: There is clipping, which would have been devastating without the (sky, back against the dog), but there are still too strong clipping (yellow canister). The next test in such a situation, ND alternately Control. This will consist of images, the "fallen" (Debonnaire), images that are completely convincing. Is not just a matter of taste (very bright images), but will increase Dynamics.

If you are the purchasers of financially've recovered, I recommend a matte for even more serene Backlighting. Also good for sliding ND-filter. For the course, there's little money for synonymous standard Cokin filter stages for KB-optics, for the transition.

Hey Basti27,

you can times the one or the other Still image from the full setup do?

Antwort von strike300xxx:

Beautiful pictures, but I agree with Axel.
Part of the Picture too bright
And I the problem is not with the ND filter but rather in the dynamic range of the CCD 's see. The images are all properly exposed!

Exactly, and this has nothing to do with the subject, the DOF, but it is simply the cross of our digital world, today!

I did not want to say that Basti has incorrectly exposed. Very likely the camera was already on automatic, which is not bad to be the case. Only it looks generally better off if something absäuft as if something ausfrisst. A tick had darker more drawing in the middle market. Small adjustments, big effect: The difference would have been dramatic. Outside help in particular a ND-degrees, the bright areas in the dynamic range of the chip to press in the controlled interior shots bouncing a bit too dark parts. Not hard to accomplish, but with the consequence that simple plan is passé hold. You get creative with sharpness control and softer light, why should we as dealing with the deliberate neglect Dynamics?

The acquisition is a Mattbox planned, maybe you can find me there a couple times synonymous tips regarding Manufacturer + good price call.

ps: of course not stand exposure to auto, I have only the midday sun underestimated ;-)
