Video Image technology or design and dramaturgy? - The latter, you have so synonymous with photography, so you bring some important preconditions with. Now there are still, on the whole motion (with sound) and transferred to a small story to tell ...
I would probably be a bigger storm bookstore and a few books "anlesen". The most interesting (or necessities), I then bought. So I have always done so far, without any external influence. ;-)

Hi Tom,
a really good and concise book is "digital video - quite simply film practice." Günther of judges. It is not very thick, and reads quickly and understandable for Beginners gives basic knowledge in dealing with the camcorder and tips for proper film. The price of 15.95 is absolutely ok.
