Acer has announced four models of its ProCreator monitor series, specifically tailored to the needs of creative professionals. The four new models PE320QXT, PE270XT, PE320QK X and PE160WU include a model with 6K, one with a high-quality QD-OLED panel, as well as a 5K and a portable model. All are equipped for creative work with, among other things, very good color space coverage, 10-bit color depth and high color accuracy with a Delta E<1 value and Calman verification. ;) Acer ProCreator PE320QXT 6K Monitor
Acer ProCreator PE320QXT 6K MonitorOur special attention was drawn to the new top model, the Acer ProCreator PE320QXT. Because its 31.5" large IPS panel has a resolution of 6K (6,016 x 3,384 pixels) and should cost only 1,199 euros. The only two other currently available 6K monitors on the market are the  Dell Ultrasharp U3224KB, which costs around 2,000 euros, and the Apple Pro Display XDR, which costs from 5,000 euros (the announced in December Asus ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV is still not available). The Acer ProCreator PE320QXT would therefore be an absolute opportunity with its price to get a large 6K desktop cheaply. Its other technical values are quite respectable. It covers 99 percent of the AdobeRGB and the professional DCI-P3 color space and offers a brightness of up to 600 nits in HDR mode. Its interfaces include two HDMI 2.1 ports as well as a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C port with 90W power delivery for connecting a notebook, a USB hub and an integrated, adjustable 8MP webcam with microphone array. Acer ProCreator PE320QK X: QD-OLED and 240 HzThe Acer ProCreator PE320QK X, on the other hand, is characterized by its QD-OLED technology, which enables true 10-bit color depth and true black as well as a high contrast ratio. On 31.5 inches, it offers a 4K UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) with an extremely fast refresh rate of 240 Hz and response times of up to 0.01 ms (PRT). With 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, it is not only suitable for color-critical work, but also for gaming. ;) Acer ProCreator PE320QK X QD-OLED Monitor For users who are looking for a more compact solution, Acer presents the ProCreator PE270XT. This 27-inch monitor also features an IPS panel, this time with a 5K resolution (5,120 x 2,880 pixels). It also supports 99 percent of the AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces, Delta E<1 and is Calman-verified. It shares the webcam and ergonomics features with the PE320QXT. ;) Acer ProCreator PE270XT 5K Monitor The portable 16-inch ProCreator PE160WU is specially designed for mobile use, whose OLED panel offers a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz and covers the professional DCI-P3 color space to 100%. It has a slim design and is designed to complement a notebook, for example, for color-accurate work. ;) Acer ProCreator PE160WU 16" Monitor for mobile use Price and availabilityIf you want to buy one of the new monitors, you will have to be patient. The ProCreator PE160WU will be launched in August at a price of 699 euros and the ProCreator PE320QXT for 1,199 euros. This will be followed in September by the ProCreator PE270XT for 899 euros and the ProCreator PE320QK X a month later for 1,399 euros.
