Lighting specialist Astera has introduced the PixelBrick, a new compact battery-powered mini LED spotlight that offers 5 different beam shape options. The cube-shaped PixelBrick has an edge length of approximately 10 centimeters and weighs 1 kilogram. It offers five different options to shape the light beam and delivers 15 watts of light output. One charge of the battery takes about 4 hours and is said to provide up to 20 hours of power. The PixelBrick is IP65 dustproof and protected from splashing water, and uses LEDs in red, green, blu, mint and amber, covering a color range of 3,200-6,500K. Its brightness is 388 lumens at 2,700K, 450 lumens at 3,200K and 375 lumens at 5,500K - its CRI/TLCI value is ≥96. The PixelBrick can be controlled either via its buttons and integrated display, the app Bluetooth, Wireless DMX or via the included infrared remote control.
