Asus had already presented the new 4K OLED monitor ROG Swift PG48UQ at CES 2022 earlier this year, but now it finally has its own product page, which gives hope that it will be launched soon. The technical specifications of the 47.5" Asus ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ with an UltraHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) make it interesting not only for gamers, but also for professional work with video. Asus& ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ, which fortunately has a color depth of real 10 bits, covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color space and 133% of the sRGB color space, has a Delta E value of less than 2 and can variably display up to 138 frames per second (overclocked) via its HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces.
;) Asus ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ Its peak brightness in HDR mode is 900 nits, which is twice as bright as ordinary monitors. To prevent it from getting too hot in the process, to extend the OLED&s lifespan, and to minimize the notorious burn-in effect, Asus has given the monitor a special heat sink. Its gray-to-grey response time is 1 millisecond, and the contrast ratio - thanks to OLED technology - is 1,000,000:1. The PG48UQ&s interfaces include a DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC), two HDMI 2.0 and one HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with four USB Type-A ports. In addition, the PG48UQ has a tripod connection on the top for mounting a webcam, for example. For operating the settings menus, the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ has a small integrated mini-joystick as well as its own remote control besides several buttons. ;) Asus ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ For better ergonomics, it has a blue light filter and can be tilted forwards (5°) and backwards (-4°) - however, it cannot be adjusted in height or rotated around its own axis. A special anti-glare microtexture coating is supposed to reduce annoying reflections and thus provide a better viewing experience.
