Atomos has released the new AtomOS firmware 11.12.00, which enables the Shogun and Ninja monitor/recorders to progressively upload recordings via Camera-to-Cloud directly to Dropbox or Dropbox Replay. The new firmware is now available for the Shogun Connect, Shogun, or Shogun Ultra models as well as the Ninja V/V+, Ninja, and Ninja Ultra models—(the Ninja series, however, still requires the Atomos Connect module for download. After installing the new AtomOS firmware update, it is now possible to select and switch between Dropbox and Dropbox Replay or between folders/projects via the "Connect" menu of the Ninja or Shogun. If Dropbox or Replay is selected as the Camera-to-Cloud destination, existing projects/folders can be uploaded or new projects/folders can be created directly from the device. Uploads are automatically organized into folders based on the project name, recording date, device AID, user device name, scene, shot, and take numbers. 40% Discount on Dropbox Business for Atomos BuyersAnyone who does not yet have a Dropbox account for C2C uploads can take advantage of a discount promotion running until November 30, 2024, during which every buyer of a new Atomos monitor or monitor-recorder will receive a 40% discount on Dropbox Business or Business Plus.
