Atomos has announced support for Apple ProRes RAW capture using its 5" 4K monitor/recorder Ninja V for Panasonic's Lumix BGH1 and S1 cameras. When combined with the Atomos Ninja V, the Micro Four Thirds camera Lumix BGH1 can record ProRes RAW at up to 4K DCI resolution or anamorphic RAW at 3.7K, and the full-frame Lumix S1 camera can record ProRes RAW at up to 5.9K.

Prerequisite for the ProRes RAW Aufnhame via Ninja V with the BGH1 is the on 24.March appearing
firmware update 2. 0, which will then support the following 12-bit RAW resolutions/formats: once 4K MFT (4096x2160, 17:9) with 23.98p/25.00p/29.97p/50p/59.94p 17:9 as well as 3.7K MFT anamorphic (3680x2760, 4:3) with 23.98p/25.00p/29.97p/50p/59.94p. During RAW output, V-Log or Rec.709 is selectable on the live view monitor. and auxiliary functions like luminance spot meter or zebra pattern are available

Atomos Ninja V and Panasonic Lumix BGH1 and S1
The Lumix BGH1's extra compact form factor makes it perfect for gimbal and drone shooting, as well as other areas such as live streaming, vlogging and cinema production. The combination of Ninja V and LUMIX BGH1 can work in sync on multi-camera productions using LTC and Genlock inputs, for example, using Atomos' UltraSync One wireless sync system.

Panasonic's full-frame mirrorless camera, the Lumix S1, has the same ProRes RAW capabilities as its big brother, the LUMIX S1H. Together with the Ninja V, it can therefore record up to 5.9k ProRes RAW and also anamorphic RAW.
