Canon Eye Control AF in more Canon cameras in the future - also for video?

We had already tried Canon&s new Eye Control AF technology at our Canon EOS R3 field test and saw a lot of potential here. Now DPReview has published an interesting interview with Canon managers, in which it is clearly stated that Canon&s Eye Control AF technology will come to more Canon cameras.

Currently, eye-based AF tracking on the Canon EOS R3 is only available for photo applications, which is also what we think makes the most sense with the current implementation. A video implementation is likely to become significantly more complex. At this point, it remains speculative whether Canon is also working on a video version of the Eye Contral AF.
