Sony presents the ZV-F1 compact camera, which, like the ZV-1, is specifically aimed at "vloggers". This camera is also equipped with a type 1" Exmor RS CMOS sensor with 20MP, but not paired with a zoom lens. The F2.0 lens here features a fixed focal length of (Kb equivalent) 20mm. Nevertheless, it is possible to zoom in a bit via a crop function.

As with the ZV-1, filming is done in max. 8bit 4K/UHD with 30fps or in FullHD with up to 120fps for slow motion. Video recordings are basically limited to a max. length of approx. 29 minutes. Filming is also possible in S-Log2 as well as HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma (HDR). New Creative Look function should quickly lead to attractive pictures.
An artificial bokeh function is also on board, which can be activated by pressing a button, so that the background is blurred more than the small sensor would allow. Stabilization is also done electronically. Furthermore, an autofocus with eye detection for humans and animals (contrast detection, no phase AF) is implemented.
A foldable and rotatable LC display with touch function, a 3-capsule microphone incl. windshield, a microphone connection (3.5 mm stereo mini jack), USB-C, WLAN and Bluetooth are available.
The ZV-F1 weighs 256 grams ready for use and costs 649 euros - available from October 2022.
