With the PavoTube II 6CP, Nanlite is releasing a revised version of the 10-inch LED tube PavoTube II 6C. The new PavoTube weighs only 267 grams, remains compact, but shows significant technical improvements in terms of light output, color space control, operation, and battery life. ;) Nanlite PavoTube II 6CP
Brighter and Larger Color SpectrumThese improvements are made possible by the new Nebula C4 Engine, which offers not only a wider color spectrum from 2400–12,000 K compared to the PavoTube II 6C, but also 10% higher brightness (661 lx @ 0.5 m at 5600 K). Additionally, there is an extended green/magenta correction of ±150 to precisely match the light to camera sensors or mixed lighting. Nanlite specifies color rendering as CRI/TLCI 95/95 and TM-30 Rf/Rg 92/100. ;) Nanlite PavoTube II 6CP Gels Gels On Board: 460 LEE and Rosco FiltersA new feature is a Gel Mode with 460 preloaded LEE and Rosco color filters. This allows for faster matching of existing light sources on set—without external gels. In addition to CCT, HSI, and 15 customizable effects, the NANLINK app also offers eight group effects when multiple lights are linked. Operation, App Integration, and NFCThe user interface has been revised regarding button layout and menu navigation. Control is possible either on the device or via the NANLINK App 2.0 using Bluetooth. An integrated NFC tag simplifies pairing—a smartphone/tablet only needs to briefly tap the PavoTube, and it will be automatically recognized in the NANLINK App. This reduces setup time, especially in setups with many tubes. ;) NANLINK App Power Supply and RuntimeThe internal battery has been increased to 3200 mAh and now provides power for approximately 78 minutes of operation at 100% output—about 30% more than the predecessor model. Charging and operation are done via USB-C using a DC 5V/2A or a PD adapter. Optionally, Nanlite&s NP-F550 Battery Grip solution can be used, which extends the runtime by about two hours. ;) Nanlite PavoTube II 6CP Form Factor and MountingThe polygonal and approximately 25 cm long PavoTube II 6CP features integrated magnets for quick attachment to metallic surfaces; included metal plates expand the mounting options. One 1/4"-20 thread at each end facilitates rigging options (arms, clamps, hangers). Due to the T12 diameter, the PavoTube II 6CP is compatible with common tube mounts. Existing accessories for the 6C, such as modifiers, power, and weather protection solutions, remain usable thanks to backward compatibility.
