With the DJI Pocket 2, DJI introduces the successor to its popular Pocket Osmo mini gimbal. M Compared to its predecessor, the new Pocket 2 features a larger sensor (1/1.7'' CMOS) that has also gained significantly in resolution, now at 64 MP (versus 12 MP for the predecessor).
The lens of the Pocket 2 has also been renewed and now offers more coverage than before (80°) with a 93° angle. In addition to HDR modes, an 8x slow motion is now also on board, with HD resolution of up to 240 fps.
Thanks to Hybrid AF 2.0 and Activetrack 3.0 systems, the Pocket 2 should be able to track fast-moving subjects better. The Pocket 2's automated modes include
Pro mode: Controls advanced camera settings such as ISO, shutter speed, EV and focus mode. ActiveTrack 3.0: Once a subject has been selected, the DJI Pocket 2 automatically holds it in the centre of the image. slow motion: Captures the fast-moving world in up to 8x slow motion with a maximum resolution of 1080p. time lapse, hyperlapse, motion lapse: Speed up the world with different effects and three different time-lapse operations. Hyperlapse automatically integrates Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for even smoother shots. You can save individual images separately, shoot in RAW format and use ActiveTrack 3.0. Panorama shots: 180° panorama: Takes four photos to create poignant landscape images. 3×3 panorama: Joins nine images together for a wide and detailed view. Livestreaming: Make the livestream directly accessible on Facebook, YouTube or RTMP. Story mode: Preset camera movements, colour profiles and music make it easy to select templates, record key moments and share on social media.
The Pocket 2 also seems to be fully equipped when it comes to accessories. Here you will find a mini joystick, a waterproof housing for dives up to 60m, wide angle attachments, charging cups, control wheels and much more.
