Dual-Band Video Transmission: Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite - New Wireless Video System with Camera Control

Accsoon is introducing a stripped-down "Lite" version of its CineView Master 4K wireless video transmission system, which has been available since 2024. It uses two Wi-Fi frequency bands (5GHz and 2.4GHz) instead of three and allows for slightly higher latency, which the manufacturer states is under 35ms (instead of under 25ms). However, this figure only applies when transmitting 1080p60; when working with 4K 60, it nearly doubles to under 65ms. There are also significant trade-offs in terms of range, which is approximately 350 meters, whereas the Master 4K system can cover up to 2.5km. In return, it adds features such as the ability to control cameras.

RTMS 4.0 supports the transmission of 4K video at up to 60 fps (data rate up to 32Mbps) as well as 1080p. As with Accsoon&s other CineView models, a single TX can transmit wirelessly to up to 4 units or devices simultaneously—be it CineView Master 4K (Lite) receivers, iOS or Android devices, or a combination thereof. Additionally, an iPhone or iPad can be connected via cable.
New to the CineView Master 4K Lite is a USB Video Out port on the receiver (RX) as well, not just on the transmitter. This ensures a stable video preview here too. Furthermore, the system offers wireless camera control, including touch focus. For this purpose, the transmitter features a special USB-C port for connection to the camera. Parameters such as ISO, aperture, WB, and shutter speed can then be adjusted via a monitor/device connected via Wi-Fi. The following cameras are currently supported: Sony FX3 / FX30 / A7C II / A7SM3 / A7M4 / A9M3; Canon R5 / R6 / R5 II / R6 II / R7 / R8.
The transmitter (TX) of the CineView Master 4K Lite system, featuring a 1.3" OLED display, has HD-SDI and 4K HDMI 2.0 inputs, an HDMI 2.0 output for 4K loop-out, USB-C for camera control, and USB video-out. The receiver (RX) has both 4K HDMI and HD-SDI outputs, as well as USB video-out. Both devices can be powered by NP-F type batteries or via a DC jack.
Integration of Frame.io C2C (Camera to Cloud) technology via the Accsoon SEE app is also supported.
The Accsoon CineView Master 4K Lite video transmission system is available now for 749 euros.
