A really cool FPV drone shot has been unearthed by Petapixel -- oops, now we've already revealed that it's real, while it's also teased as an "impossible" shot. Anyway, having a drone whiz under a car isn't bad -- add a 360° camera and it gets really wild:
Used an "invisible" drone (similar to the kostete
Invisi360) in conjunction with an Insta360 One R 360 mod - since the camera stitches together two 180° shots (one facing up, one facing down), the drone frame disappears right in the seam. Until the take, which lasted only a few seconds, succeeded through the tight space under the car (the clip is not edited), as filmmaker Mikhail Parkhomenko tells, the bulging lens protector had to be replaced several times, as it was scratched by the slightest contact with the ground or car.

FPV drone used.
Since a 360° camera records the surroundings completely, the hypnotically turning tracking shot was composed afterwards in Postpro - this is the only way that the camera seems to rotate in the narrow space under the car. Due to the many possibilities, the post-production also took some time - a BTS video gives some impressions of how exactly the clip was created:
By the way, the example also demonstrates quite impressively how effective such looping short videos can be - namely ideally as small, moving business cards for filmmakers to prove their skills.
