The first official "stable" version 20 of DaVinci Resolve (Studio) was released
after a relatively short beta phase about a month ago - which doesn't stop Blackmagic from pushing out further updates in quick succession. The newly released version 20.1 primarily provides function improvements and bug fixes.

First Update for DaVinci Resolve 20
The following functions have been added or updated:
- Support for Blackmagic RAW SDK 4.6.
- Fixed issue of incorrect clip sorting in the media pool when adding to the timeline.
- Fixed voice-over issues with multi-mono configuration enabled.
- Fixed: The music editor does not retain settings when reloading.
- Corrected the display of the beat marker when adjusting the music editor.
- Audio Assistant no longer applies fades at the end of the mix.
- Improved IntelliScript alignment of script and transcription differences.
- Fixed issue loading linked audio clips in the Media Audio Player.
- Fixed occasional issues with the speed of the editor.
- Fixed faulty subtitle animation when attaching words.
- Fixed: Copied Fusion nodes ignore process level settings.
- Fixed update issue with object removal when switching compositions.
- Fixed multiple OpenColorIO issues in the Fusion Viewer.
- OCIO FX now allows filtering of color spaces.
- Improved node cache retention for color changes in other layers.
- Fixed resetting the Magic Mask cache in multiple scenarios.
- Fixed faulty thumbnails for ACES 2.0 timelines.
- Improved handling of packet loss through remote monitoring.
- Fixed issue consolidating spilled BRAW recordings.
- Deleting projects now reliably removes the project cache.
- General performance and stability improvements.
As with the latest versions, this update remains free for owners of a valid license, but Blackmagic has repeatedly hinted that this will not always be the case.
Users can find the corresponding downloads for Windows, MacOS and Linux on the Blackmagic website with immediate effect. iPad users need to update via the App Store.
