Magix has introduced new versions of its video editing programs Video deluxe 2026 and Video Pro X17. The core of the update for both programs is new AI functions, which are designed to improve media management and working with subtitles in particular. Video deluxe 2026 is primarily aimed at beginners, while Video Pro X17 offers additional functions in areas such as grading and audio editing for advanced users - with the same user interface. ;)
AI-supported Media ManagementA central feature of the new versions is the AI-supported media management. The software scans locally stored images and videos using integrated (local) AI models and automatically categorizes them according to motifs such as people, animals or landscapes. The system also recognizes scene changes within a video and sorts the respective sequences into the corresponding categories in order to help users organize raw material and speed up the editing process. ;) KI Medien Management Highlighted SubtitlesIn the area of subtitles, MAGIX has also integrated new functions, which now enable synchronous highlighting of the words currently spoken within the subtitles of a video, which should improve readability for short video clips such as Reels or Shorts. In addition, subtitles can be exported as a transcript, for example for use as closed captions on platforms such as YouTube. The export function also supports foreign words and the mixing of different languages. Premium and Ultimate VersionsIn addition, the Premium and Ultimate versions of Video deluxe 2026 and Video Pro X17 offer updated effect packages and tools from third-party providers such as proDAD. Video deluxe 2026 Premium, for example, contains over 1,700 effects and filters for color correction, looks and transitions from the proDAD VitaScene V5 Pro effect package. Video Pro X17 also integrates "Hide V2", a tool for removing unwanted objects in the video material. Both Ultimate versions receive comprehensive updates for plug-ins such as Hide, ReSpeedr, Disguise and ProDRENALIN as well as new content packages with additional effects and music. Video Pro X17 Ultimate also includes proDAD&s ProDRENALIN V2 and the Chroma Key Studio from Boris FX. Also new are the Ultimate Content Packages, which give users additional video and audio effects and songs. There are also vouchers for additional quotas for stock downloads, voiceover and subtitle creation. ;) Hervorgehobene Untertitel VEGAS Movie Studio becomes Video deluxe 2026A further step in MAGIX&s product strategy is the worldwide renaming of VEGAS Movie Studio to Video deluxe 2026 - technologically, Movie Studio has been identical to Video deluxe since 2021. Magix is thus establishing the Video deluxe brand worldwide as an entry-level solution, while the Video Pro X brand name addresses professional use.
