With the Bowens Mount Projection Attachment 25°–45° (PJ-BM-25-45), Nanlite expands its portfolio with a flexible projection lens for LED lights with Bowens mount. The projection attachment is aimed at professional users of Bowens-compatible LED lights up to 800W power – regardless of the manufacturer. Of particular interest is the continuously adjustable zoom function in the range of 25 to 45 degrees – a feature that has so far been reserved for larger and heavier systems. ;) Nanlite Bowens Mount Projection Attachment
The heart of the new projection attachment is the rotatable lens unit, which allows zooming the light cone without having to remove gobos or shutters. The entire range from medium-wide (45°) to focused (25°) light can be quickly adjusted using a rotating zoom ring. Compatibility and Construction The new projection attachment is compatible with all LED lights up to 800 W that have a Bowens mount – including Nanlite&s Forza, FC and FS series, but also models from other manufacturers. The maximum output power of the lights must not exceed 800W. ;) Nanlite Bowens Mount Projection Attachment An aspherical lens ensures minimized distortion and clear edges in projections. Thanks to additional optical coatings, light transmission is optimized and color errors (chromatic aberration) are reduced. The matted inner barrel of the lens also serves to control stray light – an important aspect for precise lighting. The equipment includes an integrated gobo holder for standardized M sizes, four included gobos and a gel frame for quick use of color filters. Optionally available are an 18-blade iris diaphragm insert for precise control of the beam diameter and additional gobo sets from Nanlite. Common third-party gobos can also be used without any problems. ;) Nanlite Bowens Mount Projection Attachment With a weight of only 2.68 kg, the device is designed for mobility and easy setup and dismantling. Thanks to the lightweight construction of aluminum alloy and composite materials, the lens can be mounted directly on the light without additional brackets or yokes. This not only saves space during transport, but also facilitates use in confined lighting setups. The housing made of heat-conducting aluminum alloy ensures effective heat dissipation, so that the projection attachment remains stable even during prolonged operation with powerful LEDs. A padded carrying case is included for safe transport. ;) Nanlite Bowens Mount Projection Attachment With the PJ-BM-25-45, NANLITE is launching a projection attachment that impresses both with its optical performance and its practical handling.
