At NAB 2026, Atomos unveiled the next generation of its 19" monitor-recorder-switcher, the SUMO PRO-19. Using its four independent inputs, it can also be used for switching (hard cuts and fades) and recording four ISO streams plus a program channel at up to 1080p60. The Atomos SUMO 19-PRO is compatible with Sony FS series cameras, Canon C300MKII/C500, Panasonic EVA-1/Varicam LT, and others. The SDI and HDMI inputs also offer cross-conversion of signals with 4K>HD down-conversion options. ![]() Atomos Sumo PRO-19 Full-size XLR connectors with 48V phantom power allow for the connection of two external microphones with balanced analog audio recording and monitoring. Microphone or line-level audio can be seamlessly synchronized with embedded audio from HDMI and SDI sources. Storage on USB-C and CFexpress Type B instead of SATA SSDFor recording media, Atomos is moving away from the classic SATA SSD as the sole option with the SUMO PRO-19, opting instead for external recording via USB-C and internal storage using CFexpress Type B cards, which are fast enough for 8K RAW and high-bitrate codecs. MonitoringAtomos has also upgraded the monitoring tools: in addition to classic focus, exposure, and framing aids, the SUMO PRO-19 now supports EL Zone False Color, a precise system that displays exposure values in stops, as well as anamorphic de-squeeze display and 16:9 framing for social media formats. The new, freely assignable shortcut buttons also allow for personalized quick access to up to six frequently used functions. ![]() Atomos Sumo PRO-19
PriceThe SUMO PRO-19 is available for pre-order at a price of 3,359 euros. However, the SUMO 19SE remains in the Atomos portfolio as a more affordable option for those who can do without the higher resolution, network connectivity, CFexpress, and camera control, costing around 2,000 euros. deutsche Version dieser Seite: Atomos SUMO PRO-19 - 19" großer 4K-HDR-Vorschaumonitor, Recorder und Live-Switcher | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
