Following the update to Premiere Pro in June, Adobe has now unveiled a number of new features for Photoshop, some of which are quite impressive. The most exciting feature demonstrates how easy image editing (and manipulation) has become with the help of AI. ![]() Harmonize feature (beta) With “Harmonize” (shown as Project Perfect Blend at Adobe MAX 2024 and unfortunately only available in beta for now), objects inserted into an image composition can be adjusted with just a few clicks to blend in perfectly. Colors, light, shadows, and visual tone are automatically updated, and the necessary changes are then made to the object. Optionally, the background of the inserted image object can also be removed beforehand.
This saves users the tedious manual corrections that are necessary for a seamless result – a corresponding tool would also be pretty cool in Premiere Pro or After Effects. Let&s hope that a corresponding Firefly-based function will also be added for moving images in the future. Also in beta is the new Generative Upscale feature, which allows images to be upscaled to 8 megapixels without losing detail. Projects (Beta) is designed to help with project organization by bundling assets in one place. Creative teams can share complete project files instead of manually sending individual assets back and forth. ![]() The Remove Tool has been improved in the official Photoshop release (July 2025 / version 26.9). It now runs on the latest Firefly image model and is designed to remove distracting objects even more precisely than before and generate more realistic fill content. Visible artifacts are minimized for more natural-looking results. In addition, Photoshop now offers the option to choose between different Firefly image models (Gen AI Model Picker). ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Photoshoppen wird einfacher - KI gleicht eingefügte Bildobjekte an |
