Fujifilm is expanding its repertoire of large-format cinema lenses for the GFX ETERNA 55 and GFX100 II. The new ultra-wide-angle power zoom, the FUJINON GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR, joins the already available GF32-90mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR; both offer identical external dimensions, a constant T3.5 aperture across the entire zoom range, and matched characteristics in terms of color reproduction, bokeh, and focus fall-off. ![]() FUJINON GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR In terms of design and handling, the power zooms are modeled after the Premista series. Focus, zoom, and iris are electronically controlled via integrated motors. The image circle is designed for the large sensor of the GFX ETERNA 55 and fully covers the 4:3 open gate format. ![]() The optical construction of the GF19-35mmT3.5—whose full-frame equivalent focal length corresponds to approximately 15mm to 28mm—comprises 23 elements in 15 groups, including four ED and three aspherical elements. According to Fujifilm, it is designed for high resolution, low aberration, and a constant T3.5 aperture. A Nano-GI coating is intended to reduce reflections and stray light, particularly with obliquely incident light. The iris diaphragm consists of 13 blades for the roundest possible bokeh. ![]() The internal construction is designed to keep focus breathing to a minimum, thereby ensuring stable image composition during focus pulls. Thanks to a rear-focus system and special manufacturing techniques, the zoom lens remains comparatively compact and lightweight for a large-format cine zoom, weighing 2.1 kg and measuring 222mm in length. The focus, zoom, and iris rings are separate and equipped with standard 0.8-mod gear teeth. The focus ring offers a 200° rotation, and electronic control is handled directly via the camera body or the handgrip of the GFX ETERNA 55. Fast internal motors are intended to ensure precise electronic focus control and reliable autofocus operation. The Fujinon zoom is optically stabilized. Availability The FUJINON GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR is scheduled to be available from July 23, 2026; a price has not yet been announced. (The GF32-90mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR costs approximately 5,350 euros.) deutsche Version dieser Seite: FUJINON GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR - Ultraweitwinkel-Objektiv vorgestellt |
