Roland has expanded its portable mixer/audio interface series with the new GO:MIXER STUDIO, a model aimed at creators looking for a comprehensive audio solution for their projects. The GO:MIXER STUDIO functions as a USB audio interface with 12 inputs and 6 outputs, supporting recording rates up to 24-bit/192 kHz, making it suitable for music production via DAW as well as a standalone mixer for live performances, podcasts, and more. ![]() Roland GO:MIXER STUDIO InputsThe GO:MIXER STUDIO offers a variety of inputs for different recording scenarios. Two XLR mic/line inputs feature high-quality microphone preamps with a wide gain range for recording vocals, acoustic instruments, and other sources. Additionally, there is a dedicated guitar/bass input, 6.3 mm jack inputs for stereo instruments such as a keyboard or V-Drums kit, and an Aux input for integrating additional stereo sources, including TRRS compatibility for bidirectional signal transmission with mobile devices. OutputsThere are several options for monitoring sound live: a 6.3 mm jack output for studio headphones and a mini-jack connection for connecting a headset or inline microphone are available. Two 6.3 mm jack outputs are provided for connecting a speaker system. Control is managed via dedicated knobs on the control surface. In addition to these analog interfaces, there are also two USB-C ports—one for power supply and one for digital audio—as well as MIDI IN/OUT onboard. ![]() Roland GO:MIXER STUDIO Integrated EffectsThe GO:MIXER STUDIO offers effects such as three-band EQ, compressor, and reverb, which can be applied optionally to the recording or only to the monitoring path. This can reduce the need for post-processing or allow for latency-free monitoring with processed sound while the raw data is recorded unchanged. Control Directly or via ComputerLevels, sessions, and effects are controlled directly on the device via the color display (320x240) and dedicated knobs. However, the ![]() Roland GO:MIXER Cam App Dedicated Camera App with Multitrack Audio RecordingFor iOS devices, Roland offers another interesting option: using the GO:MIXER Cam App, video can be recorded simultaneously with multiple audio tracks. Each input signal on the GO:MIXER STUDIO can be recorded as a separate audio track and subsequently mixed into the video recording. The multitrack recordings can also be exported as audio files for further processing in a DAW or editing software on the computer. This allows them to level and mix dialogue, atmosphere, instruments, and playback sources separately without an additional recorder. Musicians can use the GO:MIXER STUDIO to record guitar/bass directly, vocals with a condenser mic, keys via line in, plus MIDI clock/transport using just one device. Podcasters/streamers benefit from features like loopback, headset support, and scene memories for recurring formats. The Roland GO:MIXER STUDIO is available immediately in the USA for —the release date in Germany is not yet known. deutsche Version dieser Seite: Roland GO:MIXER STUDIO vorgestellt - mobiler 12-Spur Mixer und Audiointerface |
