Audio specialist RØDE has released the new PodMic USB microphone, which is designed to provide professional audio quality for podcasts, streaming, voice-overs and content creation. It comes with a particularly handy feature, namely both an analog XLR and digital USB connection, allowing for very different usage scenarios. ;) RØDE PodMic USB
It can be connected directly via USB to an iOS or Android smartphone/tablet or Windows notebook for mobile sound recording and digitization as a portable podcasting or streaming solution, or alternatively used with a professional camera as a high-quality XLR microphone.
