RØDE is also bringing the next generation of its professional wireless microphone system, the RØDELink II, to NAB. Aimed at filmmakers, broadcasters, and content creators, it introduces a new proprietary UHF wireless transmission technology. This technology comes from wireless specialist Lectrosonics, which has been a sister company of RØDE since last year. The broadcast-proven UHF performance is designed to offer exceptional reliability, high interference immunity, and secure operation even in challenging RF environments.

RØDELink II
The RØDELink II includes two transmitters and a single receiver, enabling seamless dual-channel operation for recording multiple sound sources simultaneously. Each transmitter is paired with a broadcast-quality lavalier microphone featuring locking connectors. Thanks to integrated 32-bit float recording, clean audio can be recorded directly to a microSD card, regardless of whether the source is very loud or very quiet. Additionally, a dedicated timecode I/O port facilitates precise synchronization of audio and video.
Designed for professional use, the RØDELink II features a robust metal housing built to withstand the rigors of on-location shooting. The package also includes three swappable lithium-ion batteries, ensuring long runtimes even in demanding operational environments.
The RØDELink II is complemented by a range of new timecode and audio cables launching simultaneously, designed to provide seamless connectivity and high performance for creators and filmmakers. These include a 3.5mm TRS to 5-pin and a 3.5mm TRS to BNC timecode cable, both featuring locking connectors, professional-grade construction, and a right-angle design for a compact and secure setup.
A new 3.5mm TRS to XLRM cable and an XLRM splitter cable allow microphones and audio sources to be connected to professional recording devices. Depending on the requirements, stereo channels can be summed or split into separate XLR outputs. Designed for durability and reliability, these cables are intended to ensure stable connections and uncompromising performance in any production environment.
The RØDELink II, along with the new line of timecode and audio cables, will be available soon. Pricing has not yet been announced.
