Infoseite // Audio track of MPEG2 is not accepted

Hello!

I want my SD MPEG2 files premiere edit. Unfortunately after I file in the edit track drew the audio track.

When I look at with the VLC Media can show there is Audio: a52
What is the format for a strange and why can other editing programs (Ulead Video Editor 8, Movie Maker ...) to deal with and not Premiere?

EDIT: I found out that there appears to be Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo sound is. Do I need a plugin / codec for processing?

Change but the files before importing into APP with MPEG Streamclip to. Then there should be no problems.

Completed: Yeah, found that APP generally Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks accepts. If, however, a DLL from the directory for Encore Premiere copied works. ;-)
