Both new models feature on small 8cm Blu-ray discs up to 1920x1080 (FullHD) - it BD7H model also have a hybrid on 30GB hard drive. Further data: 10x optical zoom, 1/2.8 inch CMOS image sensor with 5.3 (actually 2.07) Megapixel, 2.7 LCD display, HDMI output, SD memory card slot, Adaptive Dynamic Noise Reduction feature to minimize image noise, Thumbnail preview of recorded video, recording format is AVCHD 1920x1080 and 1440x1080 with a maximum bitrate of 15 Mbps or alternatively 720x480 MPEG-2 with a bitrate of up to 9 Mbps - Recording time: 1 hour FullHD Blu-ray 1440x1080 or 2 hours and 4 hours FullHD on disk. The 8cm Blu-ray discs with 7.5 GB possess a 5 times higher capacity than 8cm DVDs - can be recorded on BD-RE / R and DVD-RAM/RW/R. On the video disk can be recorded with two speeds on the Blu-ray discs to be copied or even after transcoded MPEG-2 video and DVD in standard resolution to be played. On Blu-ray video is recorded in commercially available Blu-ray players play. The sale will be in Japan on August 30 launched in the rest of the world in October.
