times have a quick question. In the database, the HF11 8 points before the HG20/21. I thought the two cams of the technique are identical. When I See reminds me also on the Hg's the Aperture manual can not be the HF11. Further down but then when HF11 under "External controls / Manual Aperture - joystick". This confuses me a little.
The Hg's have both more memory synonymous wenns hard to flash memory, have integrated Peaking at the HG21 has a Viewfinder. The only 2 Advantages of the HF11 is the "portability" and the visual Tonaussteuerung.
But my understanding of her is the HG21 with viewfinders and manual setting possibilities more higher value.
But ... perhaps I overlooked one detail, the points would make more understandable? I hope not but it's really only the Portability is.

The difference of 8 points are actually "just" the portability (because the camera is slimmer and lighter, it comes from our evaluation scheme is simply better off.
The first points (manual Aperture) describes only whether the user without automatic aperture settings can. The second point says, AS (on ring or just the menu button or joystick).
The viewfinders had almost better Austattungsnote revealed that the HG21, at our schedule, but has just missed. This is synonymous, that the current viewfinders usually not much more usable. (of course depends on what).

We have here a whole latte of Canon HF-and HG-Series. The controls in relation to the aperture, however, are always identical. How Could you there a difference in one?
Antwort von rudi:
We have found no difference. The difference in the grade comes only through the Portability (weight, size).
